There are times when you cannot be in the United States yourself and someone has to be: an auction that will not wait, an inspection of goods before they ship, a meeting with a supplier that has stopped answering, a visit to a government office that only deals with people who show up, a property that needs to be looked at before money changes hands. We have represented Russian-speaking companies and individuals in exactly these situations for many years, acting on your instructions and reporting back the same day.
How far we go is up to you. At one end, our representative attends, listens, asks the questions you have prepared and sends you a written account with photographs; at the other, with a power of attorney, he signs documents, pays deposits and collects goods or paperwork on your behalf. We will tell you frankly what we can and cannot usefully do in a given situation, and when a matter calls for an attorney, an engineer or a licensed broker, we will say so and help you find one rather than pretend to be one.
Representation is billed by the hour at our consecutive interpretation rate, with a four-hour minimum, plus travel and out-of-pocket expenses agreed in advance. Describe what needs to be done, where and by when, and we will tell you whether we can take it on and what it will cost.
